Reporting a formatting issue

Include the tool, source type, expected style, and relevant public publication details. Describe the expected result and link to the style guidance if available. Avoid sending private notes, unpublished manuscripts, passwords, or sensitive information.

Calculator and website feedback

For a calculator question, include your word count, font, size, line spacing, margins, and paper size. For an interface issue, mention your browser and whether you are using a phone, tablet, or desktop. A short description of the steps that led to the issue helps us understand it.

Check your source first

For incomplete lookup results, compare the source’s title page or publisher record with the editable fields. Missing or incorrect provider information can be corrected manually. Your instructor or librarian can help resolve assignment-specific style questions.
